From January to December, overnight stays spent in the Azorean hotel establishments decreased by 71,8% compared with the same period in 2019; overnight stays spent by residents decreased by 56,1% and overnight stays spent by non-residents decreased by 85,2%.
Guests registered a decrease of 67,0% in December and a decrease of 69,0% from January to December.
In December 2020, the average stay was 2,34 nights (-7,0%) and the bed occupancy rate stood at 11,4% (-12,2 p.p.).
Total revenue decreased by 69,2% and revenue from accommodation decreased by 67,0% in December 2020.
RevPar was EUR 8,5 and registered a decrease of 48,0%.
