Overnight stays spent in the Azorean hotel establishments increased by 0,5% in September 2018 compared with September 2017. From January to September, overnight stays spent in the Azorean hotel establishments decreased by 0,2% compared with the same period in 2017. Overnight stays spent by residents increased by 3,9% and overnight stays spent by non-residents decreased by 2,9%. Guests registered an increase of 0,7% in September and an increase of 2,1% from January to September. In September 2018, the average stay was 3,08 nights (-0,3%) and the bed occupancy rate stood at 64,4% (-1,5 p.p.). Total revenue increased by 7,1% and revenue from accommodation increased by 10,6% in September 2018. RevPar was EUR 59,1 and registered an increase of 7,8%.
