Overnight stays spent in the Azorean hotels and similar establishments, tourism in rural areas and lodging tourism and local accommodation decreased by 58,5% in November 2020 compared with November 2019. From January to November, overnight stays decreased by 71,1% compared with the same period in 2019. Overnight stays spent in the Azorean hotels and similar establishments decreased by 60,5% in November 2020 compared with November 2019. From January to November, overnight stays spent in the Azorean hotel establishments decreased by 71,7% compared with the same period in 2019; overnight stays spent by residents decreased by 55,6% and overnight stays spent by non-residents decreased by 85,0%. Guests registered a decrease of 58,1% in November and a decrease of 68,8% from January to November. In November 2020, the average stay was 2,49 nights (-5,8%) and the bed occupancy rate stood at 16,0% (-14,2 p.p.). Total revenue decreased by 60,3% and revenue from accommodation decreased by 58,7% in November 2020. RevPar was EUR 11,3 and registered a decrease of 44,0%. Overnight stays spent in the Azorean local accommodation decreased by 53,6% in November 2020 compared with November 2019. From January to November, overnight stays spent in the Azorean local accommodation decreased by 69,9% compared with the same period in 2019; overnight stays spent by residents decreased by 41,5% and overnight stays spent by non-residents decreased by 81,3%.
